Writing or Word

Just a little thing I wrote a while back in response to a challenge.

Top Ten Reasons I’d Rather Be WRITING Than Messing Around with Microsoft Word

Writing is fun; Word makes you run.
Writing’s creative; Word – frustrative.
Writing brings in dough; Word brings woe.
Writing tugs; Word has bugs.
Writing makes you feel; Word makes you reel.
Writing is style; Word – just a file.
Writing makes you think; Word makes you blink.
Writing’s amazing; Word leaves you blazing.
Writing, you can fly; Word – you cry.
Writing is gold; Word leaves you cold.

Hey that is so good and very witty! Thanks for sharing -I’m giving you 11 out of 10 – for creativity and style here. 🙂

As a poet I have an ongoing interest in Writing & Poetry and in reading the works of other poets. I’m adding your pages to my blogroll so that I can follow up on more of your posts. I hope you’ll drop by my pages, if and when you get time, and see what I do there.

All good wishes and festive greetings to you 🙂

Thank you! I’ve never been called a poet before and have never thought of myself as one. I just like to write rhymes. I like your poems. They’re the sort even I can understand, and they have a lot of meaning.

– you are a poet – that’s for sure, as your humorous example proves 🙂 I hope you’ll post more rhyming verses along the way 🙂 Poetry enriches all of us – thanks for that.

Thanks also for your kind and generous comments regarding my poems. Now you are on my blogroll I’ll be reading your posts and the comments.

All good wishes – Happy Holiday!
