“No,” she said. “Numbly truthful.”
“Noodle cooking you do well.”
“Noodle cooking – yes.”
“Number crunching.”
“Number crunching – yes.”
“Nursing.”
“Nursing – yes.”
“Novel writing.”
“Novel writing – yes.”
“Now, don’t you think you should edit your opening sentence?”
“Not at all. Nothing I don’t do ever goes right.”
“Now wait a minute…”
